Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern participation in the Alma Creek Founding Guest Access program offered by Alma Creek Retreat LLC, doing business as Alma Creek (“Alma Creek,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By purchasing Founding Guest Access, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms.

1. Founding Guest Access

The Founding Guest Access program is a limited early-access offering available to the first 25 purchasers.

A Founding Guest purchase is not a reservation for a specific cabin, date, or length of stay.

No accommodation or travel dates are confirmed at the time Founding Guest Access is purchased.

2. Founding Guest Deposit

The Founding Guest Deposit is $250 USD.

The full $250 deposit will be applied as a credit toward the purchaser's first qualifying stay at Alma Creek once a reservation is selected and confirmed.

The deposit is not an additional fee and does not reduce the value of the 15% Founding Guest discount.

3. Founding Guest Benefits

Each Founding Guest receives:

• 15% off the lodging rate for their first qualifying Alma Creek stay.
• Seven (7) days of priority booking access before Alma Creek's reservation calendar opens to the general public.
• $250 stay credit, representing the full amount of the Founding Guest Deposit.
• An exclusive Founding Guest Welcome during the first stay.

The Founding Guest Welcome is a non-cash hospitality benefit and has no cash or refund value.

4. How the 15% Discount Works

The 15% Founding Guest discount applies to the publicly available lodging rate for the dates selected at the time the reservation is made.

The discount:

• Applies to the Founding Guest's first stay only.
• Applies to lodging charges only.
• Does not apply to applicable taxes, separately purchased wellness experiences, food or beverage add-ons, merchandise, or other optional services.
• Cannot be combined with another promotional discount unless Alma Creek expressly allows it.

After the 15% discount is applied, the purchaser's $250 deposit will be credited toward the remaining reservation balance.

5. Priority Booking

Founding Guests will receive access to Alma Creek's booking calendar approximately seven (7) days before reservations are made available to the general public.

Alma Creek will contact Founding Guests using the email address provided at purchase.

Priority access does not guarantee any particular:

• Date
• Weekend
• Holiday
• Cabin
• Length of stay

Reservations remain subject to availability at the time the Founding Guest selects their stay.

6. Refundability Before Booking

The $250 Founding Guest Deposit is fully refundable until the purchaser selects dates and confirms a reservation.

A refund may be requested before reservation confirmation by contacting Alma Creek at info@almacreekretreat.com .

Once a reservation has been confirmed, the $250 deposit becomes part of the payment for that reservation and the reservation will thereafter be governed by Alma Creek's standard booking and cancellation policies.

Processing times for approved refunds may vary depending on the purchaser's bank or payment provider.

7. Opening Date and Construction Timeline

Alma Creek is currently in development.

Purchasing Founding Guest Access does not constitute a representation or guarantee that Alma Creek will open on a particular date.

If the anticipated opening is delayed, the Founding Guest's benefits and refundable deposit will remain valid.

The purchaser may continue to request a full refund of the $250 deposit at any time before confirming a reservation.

If Alma Creek cancels the Founding Guest program or determines that it will not open for guest stays, any unused Founding Guest Deposit will be refunded.

8. Benefit Period

The Founding Guest promotional benefits, including the 15% first-stay discount, will remain available for 12 months following Alma Creek's official opening date.

Alma Creek will communicate the official opening date to Founding Guests.

If a Founding Guest has not used the promotional benefit during this period, the promotional benefits may expire. However, an unused $250 Founding Guest Deposit may still be requested as a refund if no reservation has been confirmed.

9. Adult-Only Property

Alma Creek is designed as an adult-only retreat.

Any future reservation made using Founding Guest Access will be subject to Alma Creek's adult-only guest policy and all other booking policies in effect when the reservation is confirmed.

10. Taxes

Applicable sales, occupancy, lodging, or other taxes will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

Taxes applicable to the eventual accommodation stay are separate from the 15% Founding Guest discount unless otherwise required by law.

11. Optional Experiences

Wellness treatments, private experiences, food enhancements, or other add-ons offered by Alma Creek are not included in Founding Guest Access unless expressly stated otherwise.

These experiences may be purchased separately when available.

12. Transferability

Founding Guest Access is intended for the original purchaser and may not be sold, resold, or transferred for commercial purposes.

Any requested personal transfer is subject to Alma Creek's prior written approval.

13. Changes to the Founding Guest Program

Alma Creek may make reasonable operational changes to the Founding Guest program before opening.

Any change will not reduce the purchaser's $250 stay credit or eliminate the purchaser's right to request a refund before confirming a reservation.

If a material change reduces the promotional benefits described in these Terms, the purchaser may request a full refund.

14. Communications

By purchasing Founding Guest Access, the purchaser agrees to receive transactional communications necessary to administer the program, including payment confirmation, relevant opening updates, priority booking notification, and information necessary to redeem Founding Guest benefits.

Marketing communications will be handled separately in accordance with applicable law and Alma Creek's Privacy Policy.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
